RENEW Conference Update – Thank you for participating!
Thank you for attending RENEW, the 5th International Conference on the Histories of Media Art, Science, and Technology.
RENEW took place from the 8th to the 11th of October, 2013 at the RIXC Center for New Media Culture in Riga, Latvia. Over 150 theorists, academics, and students presented their research and projects to an international audience.
Highlights of the conference include several stimulating discussion sessions, fantastic parallel programming by RIXC including the Art+Communication Festival, and two provocative and dynamic keynote addresses by Lev Manovich and Erkki Huhtamo.
On behalf of the conference organizers, board members and conference chairs, we would like to thank all participants and supporters for helping us add a 5th hugely successful conference to the Media Art Histories conference series.
Please stay tuned for information on the 6th Media Art Histories conference which will take place in 2015.
